Melinda J. Parks
Melinda J. Parks earned her J.D. Degree, cum laude, from Florida State University College of Law. While in law school, she was on Law Review and the Moot Court Team. Upon graduation, Melinda worked for a small firm but soon started her own practice based upon the belief that she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues. Since founding the Office, Melinda has represented clients in State and Federal Court on minor misdemeanor charges, major felony charges, uncontested and contested divorces, contract disputes, employment discrimination claims, personal injury claims, and various other claims involving a plethora of legal issues. Working as a solo attorney has allowed Melinda to fully realize her passion for helping people at all levels of litigation and protection.
Melinda is active in a number of professional organizations including Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, South Alabama Trial Lawyers Association, Mobile Bar Association, Alabama Bar Association, and YWCA Board of Directors. Melinda prides herself in treating every client with respect.
